  1. The storyline of Gilly in the movie is simpler than in the book was as far as I can remember. And this Gilli from the movie has not such big problem on her mind as "gods, I left my child for sacrifice to save life of some other child" – sorry, it is simply unbelivable, and stupid. I cannot see any mother to do this. But in the book the whole thing about "the kings blood of king over the wall" seems so stupid – who was this king anyway? Another usurper between the wildlings please 😀 What is the chance that the red witch will pick his child for sacrifice? But in the movie there is nothing about Gilly having problems with "my child is from the rape by my father" – where is this topic anyway?! Any filmmaker could not have guessed that it should be on her mind constantly? They simplified her in the movie I think.

  2. So,i think that Gilly's baby is the first walker created by children of Forest.the first time i saw how COF made white walker, his eyes reminds me of Gilly's baby. i saw this theory from Mateo12485, where he says that Gilly's baby is not aging.I totally agree with him on this point.
So my take on this is some how Gilly's baby traveled back in time when he was young and became white walker. That's why we see there is a connection between the night king and the gilly's baby because they both are same person.White walker army is coming to save the baby from everyone because if they get to know that baby is the future white king(that will destroy everything eventually),killing the baby might kill all the walker.BABY HOLDS THE KEY TO WALKER.
Hope it all make sense. Please add if you have something more supportive.

  3. Wait… if the babies turn into white walkers does that mean white walkers age??? The night king has been around for ages so he must be immortal so how do the baby white walkers grow? Do they stop growing after a certain age or continue until…well they can't die they're already dead…right?

  4. If you remember when Mormont went to Crasters Keep, Craster told him he had 99 sons, not 51. That's when Jon found out later that his sons were given to the White Walkers and Mormont knew about it and kept it a secret. 🤔

  5. In the books the babys got swaped. To save maces son from getting burned because he has kings blood. mace was the king behind the wall. Gilly left her own child behind because jon said she should do that so that the other child with kings blood is safe.

  6. That baby was supposed to be given to the Night King, but was saved. What if he is all the White Walkers want? What if they don't even want a war? What if they just want that one baby who was promised to them, and if they get him they'll just be like, "Ok, cool. We can go home now."? I know that's not true, but it would be kind of funny if it were.

  7. Considering that Sam Tarly may well be involved in the forging of Lightbringer, and that the previous incarnation of that sword was only effectively forged when it was quenched in the heart of someone the swordsmith loved…I have a bad feeling about little Sam's future. And if he doesn't meet his end on the point of Lightbringer, one has to wonder if Melisandre might think up a use for his blood…poor little guy!
