In Finland, there is a hotel made entirely of ice and snow, a joint venture between HBO Nordic and Lapland Hotels SnowVillage. What’s more, it’s a hotel themed after Game of Thrones, with each of its 24 rooms sporting a feature from HBO’s TV show or George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. Would the low temperatures make it hard to sleep? Maybe. But who cares when you’re staying in a hotel like this?
Twitter’s own GoTlike Locations recently posted a bunch of pictures from the hotel, and although we’ve seen inside before, it never stops being impressive.
For example, the entrance hall is lined with House banners, all of them frozen in ice. A sign of things to come?
Not all of the rooms in the hotel are for sleeping. Some are there just to look awesome, like this recreation of the main chapel in the Great Sept of Baelor, before Cersei blew it to hell:

Then there are a the 10 bedrooms. Apparently concerned that sleeping in an ice hotel isn’t hard enough already, HBO Nordic has filled at least three of these rooms with the terrifying faces of White Walkers, all of them leering at you as rest, their eyes aglow with malice:
Not even the thermal sleeping bags will keep you safe.
