GOT – Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 9 – SE04E09 – Reaction Video – The Watchers on the Wall

As badass as The Scythe is, logistically I just can't help but feel like it's an incredibly impractical weapon. Unless there's some chain or mechanism that can draw it back up at an angle, it's essentially a one-shot deal. On top of that, you have to be pretty accurate in terms of eyeballing how far the Wildlings are from the top and have the mathematical skills to work out where that point is in relation to the length of the chain the Scythe is attached to. And what if the Wildlings were climbing the wall single-file like the did in The Climb? You take out one, maybe two of them, and the weapon is essentially just dangling there on the Wall with about as much usefulness as Janos Slynt.

I wish I had more control over my suspension of disbelief…

for me every battles in this show was special on its own ways. like this one its had "short-story" inside the battle itself.
