Game of Thrones’ seventh season might be over, but as fans still can’t get enough of it, here’s another treat – a behind-the-scenes look at Maisie Williams and Gwendoline Christie in battle.

Well sort of, anyway – as the latest instalment of online series The Game Revealed offers a chance to see the pair rehearsing that already infamous sword fight between Arya and Brienne
It was one of the highlights of the series of course – with the height difference doing little to prevent the battle being an epic one, but also showing the awesome character development of both.
Gwendoline reveals in the clip: ‘It was so exciting to train for that fight and we trusted each other,’ while Maisie revealed what a challenge it was.
‘To be fighting Gwen, who is far over a foot taller than me, and for her to be fighting someone far far shorter than her…it’s a massive challenge,’ the actress explained.
The fun thing about the Arya and Brienne thing was I don’t think we had to do too much to it to make it really fun to watch, because everybody’s wanted to see these two together for a long time,” added director of photography Robert McLachlan.
‘And if they didn’t know they did, they certainly do the minute the two of them meet.’
