While Jon Snow may ‘know nothing’ and have a hard time getting an army together on his own, it seems that Kit Harington has an easier time of pulling in some favours.

The 31-year-old Game Of Thrones star has reportedly bagged Mumford & Son to play his wedding to Rose Leslie later this month.

The couple, who are reportedly tying-the-knot in Aberdeen later this month, are said to be huge fans – and it just so happens that Marcus Mumford and his pals are equally big fans of the couple.

‘Kit and Rosie are huge fans, so they jumped at the opportunity to get Mumford & Sons to perform at their wedding,’ a source told The Sun.

The band were more than happy to oblige, as a source said: ‘They can’t wait either. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime gig given the very Game Of Thrones setting’ (PIcture:: 2018 Jeff Kravitz)

‘Kit met the boys on Graham Norton’s show in 2015 and he’s kept in touch with them ever since.

‘He was thrilled when the band agreed. They can’t wait either. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime gig given the very Game Of Thrones setting.’

We hope no one will be requesting The Rains of Castamere, because we all know what happened the last time that was played at a wedding… Rob Stark.

The couple are said to be having an ‘intimate’ wedding with just 200 guests, though it is being held at a castle… so ya’ know… showbiz.

Speaking about his proposal, Kit revealed he’d planned something romantic for the occasion when he was on Graham Norton last year, but things didn’t go according to plan.

‘I did have some plans to do it, I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff,” Kit said of his initial proposal plans, before adding: ‘We were in the country and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine, and I blew my load early.’
