However, Game of Thrones’ Brienne of Tarth will always stay close to her heart, as admitted by the actress in a recent interview with Variety.

Christie said, “Brienne of Tarth is just so close to my heart. I’d been told that simply because I was a tall woman with somewhat unusual looks, that I would probably never work on screen…I never thought a part like this would come about, in television or in film.”
“This part, I will never stop loving. And I think has helped to contribute in some small way towards the landscape of how we see women in our modern entertainment because, the amazing thing was, people loved the character.”
What has Gwendoline Christie done since Game of Thrones?
A lot, actually. Christie has played Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a voice role in Green Eggs and Ham, the role of Lucifer in Netflix’s The Sandman, and also a major role in Netflix’s Wednesday, among other roles.
