Game of Thrones has had a lot of iconic characters over the years, but if we’re speaking in terms of physical strength, The Mountain wins without a doubt. Björnsson had been placing second at this challenge every year for the past three years, but he finally managed to clench the win this time around, finishing 6.5 points ahead of the runner up. The win also marks the seventh consecutive podium finish at the World’s Strongest Man for Björnsson. As you might remember, we had recently reported about him winning the Europe’s Strongest Man and the Arnold Strongman Classic challenges, and with his latest win, Björnsson becomes the first strongman to have clenched all three titles in the same calendar year.

This win has been in the works for a long time for Björnsson, and is nothing short of well deserved. So, congratulations, Mr. Hafþór! Let’s see if his on-screen counterpart is able to win the fight against his brother in the nasty brawl we will remember as Cleganebowl, which we have incidentally been waiting for, for seven years, as well.
