Euro 2020, ENG vs GER: Harry Kane is keeping his focus on the upcoming round of 16 clash against Germany rather than the transfer news by watching one long epic sage. The England skipper is watching the famous HBO drama series ‘Game of Thrones’ to block out everything and concentrate on the Euros.

There have been speculations about Tottenham top brass in search of a new manager, as well as Kane’s future at the club is also in doubts. England forward has shut down the noise by watching the third season of GOT.

The striker, 27, said: “It’s not concerned me at all. When I come away with England, I’m just fully focused on England.

“I just keep myself to myself.

“I watch my series, I’m on series three of Game of Thrones now, or I’m with the boys playing pool or table tennis. I just try to stay away from it all.

“When you are in tournament mode, sometimes it’s easy to get caught up with other stuff but the experience I’ve had in the last few tournaments is just to focus on this and leave no regret,” he was quoted as saying by The Sun.

Prior to the Euros, Kane made clear that he wants to leave Spurs this summer but despite a Premier League record bid of £100million from Manchester City, he said he has had no conversations about his club future during the ongoing competition.

There have been suggestions that uncertainty over his future might be affecting his form but Kane is adamant he is solely focused on Tuesday’s last-16 clash with Germany.

Euro 2020, ENG vs GER: It will be a rematch of Euro 1996 semifinal

Old rivals England and Germany have enjoyed plenty of memorable encounters over the years, with their EURO ’96 semi-final likely to be a focal point of reference as the teams meet again at Wembley in the round of 16 of UEFA EURO 2020.

This is England’s fourth game of the tournament at Wembley, where they remained unbeaten with three clean sheets in securing first place in Group B. Germany, meanwhile, recovered from losing their opening game to finish second in Group F, although they needed a late equaliser on Matchday 3 to send them through.

The winners will travel to Rome to take on Sweden or Ukraine in the quarter-finals on 3 July.
