Harry Potter 19 Years Later – My Story

This is my first Harry Potter video on the channel but don't worry the Game of Thrones videos won't stop. There will be a big GoT video tomorrow night so make sure you come back to get that!

I was 32 when I`ve read the books and then watched movies. My co-worker since year had been "annoying" to convince me to read the books so I did that and I was hooked. My mom read the books as 67 years old woman and she loves the story too. I love all those connections, puzzels, hints, hidden meanings, symbolism, human nature in the story. Those all conclusions are never ending.

I agree about Dumbledore. Once can see how Rowling changed Dumbledore as the story progressed to fit Michael Cambron's personality and performances. I was a huge Richard Harris fan long before he played Dumbledore and I think he played him beautifully.I wonder how different the story may have played out had he lived to finish the series?
I wish a few things had been included in the movies that had been in the books, including the scene that was filmed, but not included in the end, of Dudley making peace with Harry when they left the house for good.It should have been shown that they would visit each other and their kids knew each other later on.
Another is Hermione's liberation of the House Elves. That storyline could have great influence on kids, (especially in the southern states in the U.S, or in colonial families of the U.K.), on how they can love their elders and respect the good things about them,but not to accept or perpetuate their prejudices.

My fav Dumbledore is Michael Gambon. Most plp are not going to agree with me, but I love the strength he portrays to the character of the Professor. I think that's the right Dumbledore.

My first book purchased at the time of release was also Order, and my opinions on Dumbledore in Goblet as well as many other things are shared with you as well. Keep up the great work!

I first learnt of the Potter's world from the British Publication mention online in my book group. I ordered the UK version immediately I had to wait 6 weeks for it to arrive in America. I was enthralled with the original book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone then I heard about an American Publisher Scholastic Books who was publishing this American version. I really enjoyed the British version but I wanted to read this version too. What I did not expect that the title was changed. The great cover art was different too. I did not understand why these changes were made. The US title was called Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

My introduction to Harry Potter was the first play Station game then I saw the Philosophers Stone film which got me hooked on the books.Reading the books always spoils it a bit for the films because there are a lot of differences but I still looked forward to those too. Thank you for sharing your memories of Harry Potter Fentony it brought back a lot of memories for me too.

Harry potter films are a huge part of my childhood mate and i still watch them cuz theyre so good. They make me feel kind of at home since ive grown up in england n can relate to alot lol. P.s i think you should make vids on new tv shows too. I recommend supernatural since u said fantasy.

I love this. Harry Potter is amazing. I thought Azkaban was the best book.
