The Shrieking Shack is an abandoned house in Hogsmeade. For many years, villagers thought it was haunted because they often heard screams coming from inside…**CLICK TO VIEW MORE**

The Shrieking Shack was an abandoned house, with the windows and doors boarded up. It actually has no working doors or windows that allow entry or exit of the premises. The entrance is through a tunnel under the Whomping Willow on Hogwarts’s school grounds, allowed Remus Lupin (and James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, and Sirius Black) to pass between the two locations unnoticed (as Animagi or Werewolf). Ron, Harry and Hermione found out about this in a very unpleasant first meeting with Sirius Black as a huge black dog…

But even as scary as this place is, Sirius found shelter in it when he was on the run, and in a snowy cold late fall night like this, maybe you can find a little comfort in front of the warm fireplace as well? Curl up and rest your eyes, but be vigilant, it is full moon and you don’t know what is lurking outside…

  1. Needed this. Really heartwarming. Reminds me of PrisonerOfAzkaban. Thank you very much. What about trying Platform 9 3/4 on 1September; people talking, train sound, animal noises?

  2. This is fantastic for Halloween! I know you've done a couple of great halls already but is there any way you'd do a breakfast in the great hall complete with unintelligible chatter, the sounds of utensils on plates as people eat, and owl post coming in? Or maybe a greenhouse with muffled sounds of birds, insects, occasional sounds of water pouring, sound of plants being tended and stuff?

  3. This howling sound actually reminds me of my first house I purchased in San Antonio, Tx. We lived in the hill country and most days and nights the wind on the hill top would cause the house to shake a little and would howl continuously. This house is where my youngest son had grown from a baby and my older son became more aware of life. Howling winds is a sound that often helps me sleep at night. There was one room in the entire house that did not howl and it happened to be the room my oldest son used. Thanks again for an awesome ASMR room!

  4. Perfection once again! I love this one . It’s so atmospheric and so soothing. I’m falling asleep to this one tonight. Thank you for the great work that you do with these rooms!

  5. I love this so much because I just love wind sounds. Ravenclaw Tower as well <3 I listen to your channel nonstop atm because this time of the year is bad for me – I had a severe accident two years ago and it is so hard to find sleep. This helps me go to sleep and if not – at least some rest. So: Well appriciated!

  6. Thank you so much for this and for your waking up in Shell Cottage which you dedicated to Mental Health Awareness Month. They both made my eyes and ears smile 🙂 Thank you for being you and doing what you do.

  7. Aaah, another winner! I'd love to know, how do you record the specific sounds/where you get them from? Everything about your videos are so well detailed, and I know we'd all love to thank you for the care you put into these! Tingles all around, and a bit of magic to spice up everyday life!
