  1. I'm afraid we have and it sucks, BIG! However, the importance of Direwolves in the show it is nowhere near the importance they have in the books. The Stark children are all wargs in the books (well except for Sansa since Lady is dead). In the show only Bran is shown to have that power, and yet they killed his direwolf. Although could very well happen the same thing in the books as well. The scene with Nymeria was fan service but it was nice. We got to say "goodbye" to her, at least, and she is alive. It doesn't have to advance the story cause there isn't much a story to tell. In the show the direwolves have been used as symbol of the Stark children, to a certain extent, and as a plot devices. Arya's story can function well without her. Now Ghost is more important cause he is at WF. Therefore, it doesn't make sense having Jon there and not see Ghost at all.

  2. George RR Martin says he is a lapsed Catholic, so consider him an atheist or agnostic. That makes this kinda difficult for my stance or guess on what is driving the Night King and the religious people of Westeros, specifically. Did GRRM allow himself actual Gods, or did he just allow the propensity of people to make up Gods in the Land of Ice and Fire? Answer that question, and I think that what drives wargs, red witches, second rate magicians, forest children and the Night King will open up for motive in what is happening with the big Picture. Nymeria and the other dire wolves, and the rumored magic of Winterfell should become more available for predictability.

  3. Lucy, the Corgish Dwarf Dire Wolf agrees that Nymeria must take care of her human. It's the most important job any one of her kind has.

She's a big fan of Nymeria especially, as she also had to learn to fend for herself when she was growing up on the Mean Street. Lucy didn't form a Super Pack, though. She moved in with us.

  4. What if the night king crossing the wall broke a magical spell set forth by the children of the forest that the starks couldn’t warg. I know in the books they can and Bran has from the beginning but he’s the three eyed raven. Tin foil for sure but it would be so cool if the opening scene of season 8 is nymeria and ghost reuniting again through Arya and Jon’s dreams, later to find out it actually happened and they were warging.

  5. I really hope you are right. I have a feeling, though, the writers will include more useless sex scenes and not bother making room for actual story telling. Looking back over the last season I have to say they did not play to the strengths of the cast. They all but left out Varys. Tyrion had many fewer scenes than I had expected. Little Finger's death was sort of on the weak side. Not to mention how they stretched physics in order to have a raven fly all the way across a continent in a single night and have the dragons fly back in even less time. I mean they would have to have flown as fast as jetliners. Dany would have been swept right off Drogon. But I digress. My point is, I lost faith in the writers last season. It seems like they think they can just throw shit together and the fans will still love the show. I for one will not be buying any more Blu-ray sets if season 8 is as bad as season 7. I do like the image of a huge pack of wolves storming in to save the day, though. That would be cool.

  6. If you guys haven't figured it out yet the wolves are Martin's version of tolkien's the Eagles of Middle Earth, they'll show up at the right time and it'll be epic! He seems very influenced by Tolkien.

  7. I agree, you'd think there'd have to be some kind of payoff since Nymeria appeared in the last season. Fingers crossed that Arya's direwolf helps defend Winterfell when white walkers come knocking!

  8. I don't think the wolves mirror their Starks. I love GOT theories like no other but most of the wolf theories are reaching! af.. None of them make sense, even Arya's… It's similar because it's almost the exact opposite?? C'mon. I believe more in D&D wasting the budget to disappoint us without thinking anything through!

  9. I think Nymaria will come back to Ayra with her wolf pack. She knows Ayra needs her as well she gets to meet up with her last litter mate. The remaining two wolves will have a greater impact on the battle to come.

  10. Great video. If GOT does bring back Nymeria, it will be to die during the "War for the Dawn". It's going to be heartbreaking watching her get killed while fighting to protect Arya. Typical GOT theatrics. After they rip your heart out, they throw it on the ground and stomp on it.

  11. You’re welcome – for supporting you on patron.
I am picky and you have to be smart with these game of thrones videos for me to think about supporting someone. You are smart

  12. I know people think Nymeria will save the day at some point. But I somehow feel this wolf will do as her namesake did…lead her "people" to safety. If her pack gets attacked by the WW and she feels like she can't protect her pack she might go back home to winterfell (the gods wood is walled off for a reason).

  13. Gotta use the pack in the last season I don't think they wud of done that scene with nymeria and the pack for sake of it.,fan service if u will, so as you said gray they got a massive budget for the last season so really hoping we see the super pack in full service ripping the dead to pieces # free ghost
