We all knew this day would come: HBO has released advance images from the as-yet-untitled Game of Thrones series finale, and no matter how much or how little they reveal, we’re sad. Join me as we gaze upon the last ever advance photos for an episode of Game of Thrones.
Sadly, HBO is only going to tease us with two photos. TWO! Come on HBO, you’re killing us! And both are drawn pretty directly from the trailer.
Anyway, our first photo is the most important one. This photo is heavy, y’all…Daenerys looks like she’s gone full Emperor Palpatine and is surveying the Galactic Senate right after she told the Unsullied to “execute Order 66.”
