The stakes are too high for both parties in House of the Dragon season 2. Team Black and Green both are struggling to maintain their position as the Iron Throne rips them apart. What once was a peaceful albeit unstable family is now in a state of complete chaos.

Showrunner Ryan Condal has already dropped some massive hints regarding what fans can expect from the upcoming season. This includes preparing fans to witness two epic battles in one season.

On the other hand, Aegon II actor Tom Glynn-Carney has a new perspective on the whole situation. His character is finally in control and has the power to dictate his terms. In an interview with CNN, Carney said,

He’s wearing his newfound fame, fortune and responsibility now. You can see a bit of a spring in his step as he’s trying to embrace it all. We’ll see if that continues.

Carney further expresses how House of the Dragon is built on the shoulders of a giant show that managed to capture the attention of millions of people for eight long seasons. With that said, House of the Dragon showcases an important event in Targaryen history that eventually hinted at their doomed fate.
