YouTuber Malec has made a video imagining what Game of Thrones would look like as an anime. It doesn’t need more introduction than that:

Really, that was so much fun. Everything from the framing to the color scheme to the random bits of nonsense English (“Winter hating love!” “Sex is free!”) is dead-on. I’d watch this. Kudos, Malec.
Nothing is likely to top that, but here are a few other things to tickle your funny bone on this lazy Sunday. We present: a supercut of all the times Jorah Mormont has called Daenerys “Khaleesi” over the course of the series:
I mainly blame Iain Glen for the fact that some fans still think her name is “Khaleesi” to this day. It just sounds so right when he says it.
Also in supercuts: George R.R. Martin laughs and laughs and laughs in that distinctive way he has.
And yes, that is him hanging out with Sibel Kekilli, who plays Shae.
Finally, you may have been following the adventures of YouTuber steve, who started watching Game of Thrones in the middle of season 7 and has since been taking suggestions for which episodes from past seasons to watch, the hope being that he’ll watch ones that will confuse him as much as possible. This time, with as little context as possible, he dove into “The Night Lands,” the second episode of season 2.
It’s impressive how much he gets right, right?
But seriously, that anime…I know HBO is developing a number of Game of Thrones prequels, but maybe they’re approaching this whole spinoff thing the wrong way…
