Uh oh, this fan render of what Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen’s badass daughter would look like is having an emotional effect on me. Help.

It’s been over a year since the series finale of Game of Thrones, when Jon Snow killed Daenerys Targaryen and forever dashed my hopes of the two of them getting together and ruling the realm and having children and holding hands and maybe getting a dog and going as the Twins of the Crossing for a Halloween party in the Riverlands.

Actually, I never really pined for any of that stuff, but looking at a piece of fan art posted on Reddit by malevolentplatypus, I kind of feel like I have been:

This, according to malevolentplatypus, is “Lyanna Targaryen,” who so far as I can tell is the never-happened child of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. I’m not sure if the image is based on anyone in particular of if it’s just Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke’s faces run through the Photoshop process or what, but I do know I want her to serve some fire and blood, Northern style.

I do know what image this is based on, though:

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen. Helen Sloan. HBO. Official.

Fan art, of course, is common in fandoms everywhere, and Game of Thrones is no exception. I immediately thought of another image depicting Jon and Dany’s dashed home life, this one done in the style of a Renaissance-era religious painting:

Well, that was pretty wide of the mark, wasn’t it?

Keep the fan art coming, fans.
