  1. I really did not understand Cersei's statement to Jaime the first time I watched this: "You took too long." I thought it was super-petulant. But I think she was referring more to her impending marriage to Loras, and that she thinks it wouldn't have happened if Jaime had been around. "You took too long" == "we're in a situation we can't get out of, and it changes everything."

  2. We love things that get ripped away from us.

That's an inevitable tragedy we all face as part of the human experience.

I believe that's why we love the show so much. Because, while being such an otherworldly fantasy of epic proportion, it's still SO human and real.

The feeling of betrayal by the killing off and seemingly dismissal of such wonderful characters who still had SO much to do was tempered by my own realization of knowing people who were lost well before their time, fine people who still had SO much to do. And while those thoughts and reflections brought about a certain sadness of their own, it helped to strengthen my affinity for the show.

  3. Ok, you have 10 k subs, but 11 k views on this vid, either some folks are watching twice or some viewers need to subscribe. I'm guilty of watching some of your vids twice but not in the first 9 hours they are posted, if you are watching and not subscribing, no better time than now… I think this channel will only get better…thanks Hog-crew.

  4. I had to actually pause the video to give a huge 👍👍to Brian for giving Duncan the Tall some respect! I looooved that! You really do have great timing, and this crazy-cool eclectic knowledge and humour. 😅😅
I just think you make these fun videos a notch above. So thanks for the work. It does not go unnoticed. 😊😊

  5. Good to see Hogwarts perked up and back in love with the show. Looking forward to this series not for the landmark episodes but for the whole season which Hannah said is her favourite too.

Thanks for keeping the "what the f*ck is a Lommy" and the full inn scene in, many reactors cut them out.

    Great stuff Team Hogwarts!đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ€—

  6. When you finish episode 3, perhaps make sure to tell her of the uproar there was on social media after it aired due to the Jaime and Cersei scene, which is depicted as rape yet never intended to be rape by the writers/director/show runners (God knows how that happened) and that they messed up when they filmed and edited it. In the books it is (as mirrored by their entire relationship) still clearly unhealthy, but they went way too far with it in the show and have come out and said so as well. It might be worth explaining this to her – that within the show, there was no rape hence no fallout from it, no reference to it, no consequences afterwards, so in show-universe Jaime's "redemption" arc (or whatever you might want to call it) is continuing just as we would expect. Which means that as viewers we kind of have to make the uncomfortable decision to not trust what we saw on screen but what we were told by the show runners.
