Hogwarts Reacts: Game of Thrones S05E07 – “The Gift” (part two)

I don't think season 5 was all that bad. It was just one long big set up for the last three episodes. Hardhome was my favorite episode until Battle of the Bastards. Still loving Hogwarts reactions and thoughts cuz exactly how I was feeling when I first watched. Jon Snow dies Friday. Yay!!!! Lol

Hogwarts, I am sorry to say you have been overwhelmed by the show. Considerably as of late. Why speak against Cersei when she speaks with Tommen? You should know by now that is the only time she is decent. You realized it at the last minute anyway. You also thought Oberyn would burn Tyrion's cell with the lantern last season. There are quite a few things you misread or interpret wrongly. Brian, you should do a better job with her.

I feel like I've said this a million times, but Tommen would have been an absolutely amazing king… IF he wasn't so easily manipulated. By Margaery, by Cersei, by the High Septom.. I feel like the only one who had his best interests was Tywin.

GOOOD I hate Daario SOO MUCH.. he's the reason I disliked Khaleesi for 3 seasons straight.

It just so happens I can understand dogs and just for you have I translated Cedar's comments.

Cedar: "Oh my!"

It turns out Cedar is a big fan of Sam on the grounds that he is the character most likely to leave table droppings. For dogs this is a very positive attribute in a human.

Funny when the "hateful bitch" line is spoken, the dogs jump into the picture.

This episode's ending is one of the happiest I've seen Hogwarts. It's such a SHAME that it took so long for Cersei to be cowtowed

Also, glad Margaery finally made it out of the friend zone and into the love category. I've always actually had a soft spot for her, mostly because, for all her faults and manipulative habits, she seems like an awesome sister. Her and Loras' relationship is probably one of my favorite sibling relationships on the show, along with Yara and Theon's.

Also, Cedar at the end: "What the hell you doin', crazy human?" My cats give me that look all the time when I make strange noises at them. 🙂

You skipped the part where they say "Together we murdered a king" Did Hannah know Petyr was involved in Joffrey's murderh?

Last 3 episodes of season 5 are pure gold!

Next week is going to be such a great week, for terrible reasons.

Cersei's plan was a good one when you think about it. Swooping in to save the day, having both Tommen and the Tyrells in her debt. Problem is… True believers play by a different set of rules. She didn't plan for that at all.

Another lovely video! Have you ever considered doing a "making of" video? It might be interesting to see the process of how you edit one of these things together. (I got the idea from "Steve" who makes a series of reactions called "I Try to Understand Game of Thrones". He just uploaded a "behind the scenes" video that I found pretty interesting.)
