Marvel comics (the part the still writes comics) can learn a lot from this film and how to incorporate identity politics correctly even if people don't agree with it. The main thing is, the identity politics should NEVER take centre stage over the story or characters, and shouldn't influence the character motivations so thoroughly they become talking heads, or Mary sues to bolster your own argument or to pander to a small minority like minded audience members…an example of this is what they did to America chavez in the comics, as well as the new champions run.
