For the past couple of months, HBO has been ruling the television circuit with incredible shows that are breaking record after record. While 2022 ended with the blockbuster Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon, the beginning of this year has been even better with a bigger hit, the TV adaptation of the video game The Last of Us. And both of these shows are frontrunners at this year’s Emmy Awards, according to a prediction by The Hollywood Reporter.

When will House of The Dragon return?

House of The Dragon will follow the traditional storytelling style of Game of Thrones
In his recent visit to Deadline’s Contenders TV panel, Condal explained what we can see more of in House of The Dragon Season 2, “I’m excited to pick up where we left off. Now we get to fall into the more traditional rhythms of storytelling and Game of Thrones. We’ve always talked about this particular tale, George [R.R. Martin] has too, of being a Shakespearean or Greek tragedy. This series is very much about a house tearing itself apart from within. Now that all those pieces have been set on the board, I’m really excited to tell the next chapter, to see what happens now that Viserys is gone and no longer keeping a lid on things.”
