This specialized team is responsible for finalizing complex scenes, especially those involving dragons and large-scale battles. Once the Buck unit activates, it’s essentially the cleanup crew of production, ensuring every shot aligns with the previsualization (previs) plan.
Previs now includes fully animated sequences, similar to video game storyboards, allowing directors to choreograph every movement, camera angle, and lighting cue before shooting begins. Even the way a dragon flaps its wings or casts a shadow is meticulously mapped out.
