House of the Dragon is one of the most anticipated series of today, since it is the prequel to Game of Thrones, fiction that was an event throughout the last decade through the HBO screen. This new production will be integrated into the streaming service catalog HBO Max and here we will tell you when it will be, according to what has already been officially reported.
While the last season of the show has failed to captivate most of the fandom, the anticipation for this new show grows week by week. At the moment we have the following synopsis: “Based on the book Fire & Blood by George RR Martin, the series will tell the story of House Targaryen (also known as the House that gave us the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen) and will take place 300 years before the events from Game of Thrones “.
In October of last year they surprised on social networks with the announcement of the first member of the cast: Paddy Considine, who will play King Viserys Targaryen, selected by the Lords of Westeros to replace the Old King, Jaehaerys Targaryen, in the Great Council of Harrenhal. Already in December more members were confirmed: Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen) y Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen).
At the end of April the start of filming was announced and just a few days later some photos were leaked, but then new glimpses were officially published, where we had the actors already characterized as their characters. The cast, announced so far, is completed with Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon), Eve Best (Rhaenys Velaryon), Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower), Sonoya Mizuno (Mysaria), Emily Carey (Alicent Hightower young) and Milly Alcock (Rhaenyra Targaryen joven).
