House of The Dragon won three awards at the Rotten Tomatoes’ 24th Annual Golden Tomato Awards, which honors the best-reviewed movies and TV shows of 2022. The show grabbed the top spot in the following categories:
- Best New Show
- Best SF/ Fantasy
- Best TV Overall
House of The Dragon is closely following in its predecessor’s footsteps, scoring a number of significant wins in the first season itself. Game of Thrones still holds the record for winning the highest number of Primetime Emmy Awards for a series in a single year in 2015, winning 12 out of 24 nominations.
