After the last report that stated Milly Alcock, Emilia Jones, and Meg Donnelly were scheduled to screen test for the role of Woman of Tomorrow, the latest update might make a lot of House of the Dragon fans happy. According to THR, Alcock and Donnelly have moved on to the next stage of selection. They are currently undergoing screen tests in Atlanta.

Supergirl, Woman of Tomorrow, which will be based on Tom King’s 2022 comic book series, was announced by DCU executives James Gunn and Peter Safran a year ago, though no release date was given. Gunn shared the following information about the project,
“In our series we see the difference between Superman who was sent to Earth and raised by loving parents from the time he was an infant, versus Supergirl who was raised on a rock, a chip off Krypton, and watched everyone around her die and be killed in terrible ways for the first 14 years of her life, and then came to Earth when she was a young girl. She’s much more hardcore; she’s not exactly the Supergirl we’re used to seeing.”
