The ensemble cast of House of the Dragon is excellent. George R. R. Martin, the creator of Game of Thrones, is also amazed by them. After winning over the audience with her depiction of Rhaenyra Targaryen, Milly Alcock has now become part of an upcoming blockbuster franchise. Alcock has been cast as Supergirl in James Gunn‘s DCU.

What can we expect from DCU’s Supergirl?
Milly Alcock will be the fifth actress to play Supergirl in live-action. Gunn once explained what we can expect from Supergirl,
“In our series we see the difference between Superman who was sent to Earth and raised by loving parents from the time he was an infant, versus Supergirl who was raised on a rock, a chip off Krypton, and watched everyone around her die and be killed in terrible ways for the first 14 years of her life, and then came to Earth when she was a young girl. She’s much more hardcore; she’s not exactly the Supergirl we’re used to seeing.”
