So I said I wasn’t going to upload any new Game Of Thrones videos before season 7’s release, but seeing as the Northern houses had such a big role in season 6, I thought I might give an alliance-themed video a go. From Ned’s influence as Warden to Robb’s reign as King to Jon and Sansa taking back Winterfell.

As most of you who’ve subscribed already know, the Starks are my favorite family, and the houses that support them share similar qualities of honor and loyalty. The Northern storyline is by far the best, along with Jon’s path with the Night’s Watch and Wildlings – if you haven’t read the books, do look up the North faction; there’s so much genius and depth well beyond what we’ve seen onscreen.

Anyhow, just want to say thanks for the 900 subs. Hope you all enjoy. Will continue the house series as season 7 progresses.

  2. This video is amazing!! What really caught my attention is the fact fact there actually is a northern allience in the books!! Manderly sent Davos beyond the wall to find Rickon and put the Starks back in power. The show shows a fragmented North, whose allience changes on a whim (refusing to help, then crowning Jon, then saying they shouod have crowned Sansa… wtf), but in the books the north is exactly how Sansa described in the show: loyal. Beautiful video!!!!

    I have 1 question. At 5:19 "When the snow falls and the white wind blows…" It sounds like Sansa's voice but I really can't remember from which scene it's from. Any clue please? 🙂

  21. Lol the northeners DID forget. They are the most treacherous folk in GoT. And thats because of D&D who failed at portraying the famous loyality of the northeners. If the northern houses helped Jon to fight Ramsay, that would've been more reasonable and realistic. Instead we have a bunch of pussies and traitors who don't care about oaths and promises as long as it concerns their own asses. Great fucking job david benioff and d b weiss (not)

  38. This is just…wow. This is so cleverly done, so good, so inspiring! I'm practically bouncing with elation :DD The Starks are so awesome, and you express it SO WELL here, and I am super impressed and appreciative. The focus on how great Ned was, how good the Stark family is, the loyalty they inspire (The Grand Northern Conspiracy is my favorite book theory, and Davos' chapter with Wyman Manderly is amazing)…brilliant!! The bit where we see the different houses' banners and lords with accompanying voiceovers, the bit where we see the different Starks and wolf-centered quotes to match, the part where people comment on how much admiration people had for Ned and how much they mourned his passing, the simultaneous voiceovers of Jon and Lyanna reading Lyanna's declaration, and just basically every part of the video makes me go YES!! You really do show how great the Starks are (they are my favorite house if you couldn't tell). THANK YOUU
