If you’re like us, you’ve likely been in denial about the ending of Game of Thrones for months. It’s hard accepting that the HBO show is over but if you’re in Houston, this Game of Thrones event and art show can help you act like it’s not. Whatever your feelings over the last season are, Game of Thrones is still one of the most memorable shows out there and fans still have a lot of room to celebrate!

Make sure you have your favorite Khalessi or Khal Drogo costume ready because the Houston-based visual studio, War’Hous is putting on their very first Game of Thrones inspired event filled with local artists and fans of the show!

Everyone’s encouraged to cosplay as their favorite character and there’s even going to be an Iron Throne to take photos on.

This means you can dress up as the character you thought should have ended up taking the throne and finally make that happen (catch us dressing as Sansa).

The show will be on January 24 and 25 and will have local vendors selling their GOT-inspired artwork. There’s also going to be a bar and music so it’s gonna be a busy event.

This is going to be the spot’s first GOT event but War’Hous has previously put on a similar Star Wars show that was a huge hit!

Their events are super unique and run basically like comic cons with tons of cool art on display.

It’s a two-day long event that will be kicking off at 6 p.m. on January 24 with a VIP party.

The party is 21 and up and the tickets are $25 and come with complimentary drinks and bites. The next day, the event will open at noon and tickets are only $5!

If you’re feeling like you need some more time as a White Walker, this month Houston is also having an ice festival with an actual Ice Throne.

And if even after all this you still need more of GOT’s magical world in your life, you can visit these surreal Texas locations that look straight-up otherworldly.
