  1. I made a game. You make some good points, but leave out some important ones.

    You need to learn 3D Modeling (or 2D modeling), Texturing, Rigging, Animation, Programming (I suggest learning C#), Sound FX Editing (you covered this), Need to learn Creative Story Writing (players want a good story), and How to put it all together (with a Game Engine).

    I use Blender for 3D modeling and animation, Gimp for texturing, and Unity as my Game Engine. ALL FREE AND GREAT!

    BUT WHERE DO I START TO LEARN THIS STUFF!???
    I used Wyzant.com and received tutoring in C# Programming for Unity.

    If (lowOnFunds)
    {visit Udemy.com && purchase a course when it's on a 80% sale.};

    Else
    {
    lowOnFunds = False;
    }

    //there are some good courses on YouTube…. but they tend to ramble and/or go too fast. Hard to keep up sometimes.

    What games did I make? WANNA TRY IT? It's a 360° VR Game, but you don't need a VR Headset you can just hold your phone and look around. It's an underwater coral reef and your goal is to pop as many bubbles as possible. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playpoppable.poppable&hl=en
