  1. Nobody expects the Spanish pronunciation! >:D

(Also, yes! As other Spaniards have commented, Spanish 'z' sounds like the English 'th' in 'thing' or 'thought', but in most Spanish-speaking American countries it's actually an 's'.)

  2. Matt, is there some way you could explain or demonstrate (maybe a simple 10vs10 as an example) how medieval combat happened on a large battlefield scale. I simply can't wrap my head around how these battles worked, and how famous generals were often the first to engage in battle and lived without psychological trauma. I'd pay a lot of money to magically have a camera film an ancient battle (ignoring the horrible NSFL nature).

I know you mainly cover 1vs1, but how different is that to armies vs armies.

  3. i take one look at the label , look at whats inside . then turn to my family and ask , " shall we get some salami " , coz i cant prenounce the name , but its realy a salami with a local name to sound different .

  4. Having worked with Mexicans for over a decade and speaking some Spanish myself (but never studied Spanish), I found this video kinda funny. In general, with the word chorizo, as long as you pronounce the "i" as "eeeee" and the "z" as an "s", you are on the right track, at least with North American Spanish. Technically I think the emphasis is on the "i" or "eeee" sound, but I wouldn't say it with an sort of pause.
