Zach Anner, a self-proclaimed “climate change idiot” is here to find out what the hell climate change is and what people across America are doing (or not doing) about it! In “Earth Your While,” join Zach as he talks with climate change experts who have a variety of opinions on climate change, what causes it, and whether we actually need to be thinking about it. In this Earth Your While adventure, Zach talks with the L.A. Kitchen, an organization that helps prevent food waste, and provides job opportunities for those in need.

#Earthit I went around a career exhibition event that was hosted inside a prestigious casino/hotel, collecting food that people had tossed away uneaten and in its original food packaging (apples, sandwiches, cakes). Didn't give a damn about people/security guards who were looking at me. Then spent the day going around town handing it out to the homeless.
It's such a shame that we live in a society that has everything, that we take for food for granted. That chicken died for you just so you could have a wing or a drumstick. That fruit or grain of rice survived the trip all the way from the farm to the kitchen, to your plate…and if you wasted it you really won't be respecting it. Respect, love and not having a fear of judgement I find are key qualities to being a great environmental-champion beginner.
"Charity is about the redemption of the giver, not the libration of the receiver." 😒😒😒
this guy is so cute <3
It would be good to acknowledge that animal agriculture creates much more green house gas emissions than thrown away produce
Wow! Home run! What a great endeavor!
This sounds like a great program. They should have their own YT channel. (hint, hint)

What happened to kid pres
I'm such a stickler about wasting food. i just can't do it. It actually makes me upset when I see other people waste food. When I see it about to happen, I swoop in and save the food to be used for later. Yup, other people call me a weirdo, but they dont realize how much good food is being wasted for seemingly no reason at all.
Why would anyone eve dis like this vid??
That host has such a great energy!
I love Earth Your While, makes me happy
Hes so full of life
That is actually one of the best videos soulpancake has ever done since it started! I try to never throw away food, I box it and give it to someone who's needy, as much as I can. I love this video! Thank you Zach and everyone!! 😉
I would eat more vegetables, but they kinda taste like they came outta the ground…
I recently bought over-ripe bananas and made banana bread. They're easier to mash when they're over-ripe. Using produce that is getting old in smoothies is also a good way to use them, or freeze stuff.
I'm working on a similar project in my city!! I love zero waste!!
Zach is a phenomenal host and interviewer.
I keep all my vegetable scraps from food prep and collect in a freezer bag to make vegetable stock.
He is really handsome
I love this :,)
"Ugly" fruits
I see New Zach video I watch
Another winner! I used to go around at school lunches and collect all of the extras left at tables to save for class snacks later!!!!!!!!
WHAT kind of disease does he have?
This topic is pretty much on point. ^^
Good food shouldn't be wasted rite ?!
I loooove hearing about these types of projects!
I don't know if this is fucked but the host always reminds me of Daniel Radcliffe from Swiss Army Man
