Check out my NEW website: randomwoodworker.com
In this week’s Builder’s Series episode, I build a replica of Ned Stark’s Valyrian Steel Great Sword from Game of Thrones out of some maple and african wenge wood.
The goal of this channel is to teach others about woodworking in an interesting, informative, and succinct manner. My desire is to not only create awesome woodworking projects, but also highlight the process, tools, and tricks of the trade used to take a basic idea and turn it into a real piece of art. Woodworking has been my passion for over 40 years and I figured now is as good a time as any to share that knowledge, build a community, and make some random (but awesome) stuff.
New videos are released every Friday!

Looks beautiful great job!!
Love your work man. Sword turned out beautiful! I think the handle would've looked better if it was a bit more thicker though. Wouldn't you think? Overall though, I'm amazed at how good it came out!! Amazing work!
great work
good work! deserves a lot more views. You're very talented!
Wow, that is beautiful!
Awesome!
That is very good workmanship like the use of both kinds of wood.
Very cool, what's to become of this sword now?
Also I believe it's generally pronounced "Wen-gay" for wenge wood.
That was awesome!!!
This is amazing.
That looks sweet! Would you be willing to sell?
Great job, turned out awesome
