Star Wars: No Hope. Obi wan finds Luke smoking dope, racing speeders, punking and harassing sand people, drinking and carousing at the cantina, spending Aunt Beru's money at the casino. Luke owes money to Jabba. Obi pays to get Luke out of jail. Hero of the Rebellion is a junkie.
Force Awakens, Rogue 1, Han Solo, and Obi Wan are all fan service movies. That's not entirely bad. I loved Rogue 1. But the SW universe has to move forward. After seeing Last Jedi, the story of the jedi and sith are finished. They're destroyed. Another retro movie like Obi wan is just backstory.

I'd love to see Ewan back, but the movie isn't necessary (same with Han Solo). What would he do, jerk off in the desert? I get he trained with Qui Gon, but that's about it. Yeah, he could fight tusken raiders or the hutts or something but really that wouldn't be interesting.

2 and a half hours of a man spending 16 years in a desert. Fingers crossed that Disney will grace us with Obi-Wan in a blue milk scene.

If they put someone competent in charge of writing and directing and cast Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan/Ben, this could save a rapidly sinking ship.
Just give us a Qui-Gon film and a current Gen. Rogue Squadron . Goddammit disney

you have hundreds of thousands of subscribers
BUT
You keep attacking new films that can cost lucasfilm millions
You know that a boycott is not helping anyone right? Telling 170.000 people why they don't need to go with their family and friends to a movie will just harm the movie and will harm star wars overall
What do you reckon the chances are a variation on Shadows of the Empire could become Canon? We know Black Sun exists and the outrider in Canon. It should be too hard to make shadows canon again.
Would love to see a Clint Eastwood type character from OBI WAN. The type we seen from Gran Torino.

I would do a clone wars movie about obi wan and his clone battalion
If it has Ewan McGregor it's ten thousand times better than doing Han Solo movie with some random new actor. No Ewan then yes it's a bad idea along with the Solo movie
They should make it a clone wars movie. Imagine the prequels made now, without anakin.
