The latest episode of House of the Dragon had a lot going on. The pace after the decade-long time jump was intense; we even had three significant character deaths in the 68-minute-long episode. A few scenes (that we know of) have had to be cut, probably due to tie restraints. One of House of the Dragon episode six’s deleted scenes hints that Daemon might not exclusively like women. Check them out below.

Fans were quick to point out the particular deleted scene that then started this discussion.

It’s common knowledge that Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) could charm his way into anyone’s heart. Although, this is a side of Daemon we haven’t seen before. Some might argue that the person is only a servant Daemon trusts to carry secret information. But for what looks like an empty courtyard in the first photo, they seem to be sitting awfully close. Also, at Rhaenyra and Laenor’s wedding, we saw Daemon say to Laena that she’s almost as pretty as her brother. While it could mean nothing, it could have also been a breadcrumb contributing to this deleted storyline.

Maybe the showrunners scrapped this part of the story due to lack of time, but filming two scenes with the same servant might suggest something more. The book does not say much about Daemon being interested in men, but perhaps the showrunners are leaving it up to the audience’s interpretation.

Do you think Daemon is bisexual or pansexual? Let us know in the comments.
