Isaac Hempstead Wright’s girlfriend has never watched an episode of Game Of Thrones.
But that won’t stop the 20-year-old from making her watch the season finale with him – even though she’ll probably not enjoy it.
That’s right, the actor has confessed that his gal Sofie Jackson isn’t a fan of the HBO hit, and barely knows who Bran Stark is.
We’re shook.
When chatting to E! news, he joked: ‘I’m really excited to see it. I think I might get a bunch of mates together.
‘My girlfriend said she’ll watch it with me but she’s never seen an episode before in her life, so I’m not sure she’d enjoy that very much.’
The star went on to reveal how sad he was when finally saying goodbye to his character after it had sunk in he’d never play the Three-Eyed Raven again.
‘It was really sad. Saying goodbye to Bran and putting that costume away for the last time was like, wow. It was really weird,’ he confessed.
‘I’m never in my life going to be Bran Stark again, the person I’ve got to play for the last 10 years of my life. It’s a pretty huge chapter of my life to say goodbye to, so it was emotional.’
And while Bran has been Isaac’s first major role, it turns out the star doesn’t mind the prospect of having Game Of Thrones hanging over his head in the future.
When chatting to Metro.co.uk, he opened up about potentially being type cast, and how he doesn’t see it as a problem.
‘I think the thing is, it would be mad if you thought you would ever get away from Game Of Thrones,’ he said before adding: ‘It’s massive.’
‘For a lot of us it was one of the first things we ever did, so people do strongly associate us with those roles.
‘But it doesn’t faze me because it’s not like it has been something awful we’ve been a part of and it’s hanging over our heads, and we wish we could forget about it.’
Grinning, the young star added: ‘It’s something that is part of history, and is something really cool to have been a part of.
‘Whether or not it makes it hard and we are type cast or whatever, it’s still such a nice thing to be a part of.’
