  1. i just don't understand why georgie died and got eaten when in the first place he was not scared of
IT at all and was even enthusiastic of IT. On the other hand, IT did not eat bev because he smelled that she was not scared of him anymore.

  2. I hope in the second movie we get clips of the kids after they had defeated IT. Like how Ben moved away from Derry and when he arrived at the new school and he was bullied by the kids about being fat and that sports teacher who made fun of him as well. I liked that scene and how Ben exclaimed that he lost weight and I hope in chapter 2 they do do scenes from the book after the climax of chapter 1

  3. Oh well I guess everyone loves this movie but I didn't enjoy it much. The kids and their characters were the best part of the movie in my opinion but the repetition of "scares" is what brought it down for me. It's just the same shit. Lure this kid over, surprise surprise, pennywise there- now you gotta escape! Wow, you escaped? cool, meet ya next time! Don't even get me started on that pennywise fight scene, the directors just tuned down his abilities and scare factor by around 90%, suddenly the kids were beating him like nothing. I know it had something to do with them not being afraid but at least pennywise could've tried to come up with something instead of flopping around. Just found it so tedious and repetitive especially with the 2 hour film length. I wish more creativity were put more into the best scenes.

  4. Another great video published on my birthday 😀 thank you for reviewing this movie based on facts and it's accomplishments, rather than based on the disappointing past of horror movies similar to IT

  5. IT sucked…was so disappointed. there was just way too many kids, i literally can't remember ANY of their names, and most of them don't have ANY impact on the story, also made pennywise look so outnumbered and busy. also why is pennywise so weak? he just goofs around and makes balloons. and to make matters worse, he got beaten to death by a bunch of toddlers. so how did he commit so much mass murders in the past century? the CGI with the sick mummy dude was so out of place, it just didn't fit in. Bill however is the only WOW factor for this movie, he is truly the perfect pennywise, it was such a shame that almost everything else wasn't even closely on par with his perfromance.

  6. This is the first time in my history of watching and reviewing films where I really wished I was onboard everyone's hype for a film. This film was okay. I was hoping for something legitimately scary after the immense praise surrounding this film.

  7. I haven't seen the 2017 film yet, but I'm watching the 1990 miniseries for the first time and I'm loving even the second half so far. While I disagree about how well it's aged, hey, can't knock you for your opinion- which you even mention is your opinion. Take a like for props in acknowledging there can be disagreement about that! The best critics say what they thought, but do it in a way that doesn't invalidate your own thoughts and feelings- it's a hard tightrope to traverse, but you do so like you were born for it!

  8. 6/10 because Bill Skarsgard reminded me of Gollum from lord of the rings at the end instead of being the furious vengeful monster like in the book. Stan Uris is supposed to kill himself in the sequel because he's so terrified about going back to Derry. He really didn't seem too disturbed at the end when he said goodbye. Bill Skarsgard just didn't scare me enough

  9. King's work is difficult to put into movies. Too much internal dialogue, god's eye view exposition, etc. Plus there are scenes in the book in which would be impossible to put into a movie ( for IT). The sex scene in the sewer comes to mind.

  10. Never really found it that scary to be honest, and the film got kind of boring for me towards the end. For me it was like a meh horror version of stand by me with worse and more annoying characters. It still thought it was a good film but it wasn't the great film I had expected after hearing all the praise it got.

  11. if you take away the blood and It being scary the movie felt like a children's movie, it gave me similiar vibes like stand by me and the kings of summer etc, cause besides the scares in it that was what the movie tried to be which was kinda weird? I wished they'd done it creepier with less happy jokes and comedy, It was supposed to be 'hard to beat' and wished for less cgi and more Bill too, he did amazing when he was able to be on screen. I liked the vibe but they could've done better and give more creeps, like more scenes to make you feel really uncomfortable

  12. Spoiler alert: IT is actually just a giant spider, and after you kill IT, you have to also go around smashing all IT's eggs so there won't be new baby ITs crawling out of the sewer every 30 years. Oh, and don't forget that the turtle couldn't help us. You can't condense a 1235-page book into a 2 hour movie. This movie fails. Miserably. But hey, if you didn't read the book, you have no reason to give a shit, so enjoy some schlock if that's what you're into.

  13. Never really cared for the 1990 miniseries or the novel, and this movie, sure, it looked great, great performances, but again…didn't do anything for me. Predictable jumpscares over and over and over… never got the whole scary clown thing…To me they're just funny looking.
