Jamie Redknapp has revealed watching Game Of Thrones gives him nightmares.
The former footballer was asked by fans which box sets he’s been getting into recently.
And he said that although he loves the HBO fantasy drama, he gets scared if he watches it too late.
He said he would rather view cheesy sitcom Friends to make sure he gets a good sleep.
Redknapp, 46, said: “I love Game Of Thrones. When I was watching it, I was like, ‘This is brilliant’. But I’d watch it before bed and I couldn’t sleep.”
The ex-Liverpool star added: “I was having nightmares. I realised it was because it was Game Of Thrones.”
He said the bloodshed in the show was a bit too much for him and he prefers something lighter prior to bedtime. Redknapp said: “It wasn’t good, watching violence. I will watch Modern Family or Friends before bed.”
Last week, he revealed how his sons have been split up amid the Covid-19 lockdown. The Sky pundit is home-schooling Beau, 11, while Charley, 15, self-isolates with his ex-wife Louise, 45.
He also revealed his famous father Harry, 73, has had no problem self-isolating because he has always liked his own company.
Jamie said that his own famous dad Harry has had no problem self-isolating as he has always liked his own company, adding: “My dad doesn’t go out with anybody.
“He’s in the same position as always apart from no golf and no football and no horse racing. There’s nothing on.’
