Jason Momoa walked the red carpet with real-life wife Lisa Bonet during last night’s Oscars, but also shared a special reunion with Game Of Thrones costar Emilia Clarke. It was GLORIOUS.
As expected, last night’s Academy Awards delivered a brilliant selection of content for us to wake up to. There was Olivia Colman’s emotional acceptance speech for Best Actress, Kendall Jenner’s ~very~ naked after party dress, and an excellent performance of ‘Shallow’ by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
One other moment that left us feeling all warm and fuzzy inside was when Jason Momoa, aka Khal Drogo, bumped into Emilia Clarke, aka Daenerys Targaryen, backstage.
The Game of Thrones stars posed for photos alongside Jason’s wife Lisa, which he shared on Instagram with his 10 million followers alongside some adorable captions.
“Me and my QUEENS,” he wrote with one, before adding, “So proud of you @emilia_clarke I love u with all my heart Aloha Drogo [sic].”
Needless to say, GoT fans were LIVING for the interaction, especially ahead of the return of Season 8 in two months time. “This makes me so happy,” one person commented, while another added, “I miss Drogo and their love story!!😢😍”
A third said, “This is what I’ve been waiting for!!!!”
