For months, Justice League star Ray Fisher has been calling for accountability for abusive behavior on the set. Now, Jason Momoa stands with him.

A couple months back, Ray Fisher, who played Cyborg in Justice League, accused replacement director Joss Whedon of “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” behavior on set. He also accused Warner Bros. executives Geoff Johns and Jon Berg for enabling Whedon, who was brought on to do reshoots after original director Zack Snyder had to leave due to a family emergency.

Fisher and Warner Bros. have been going back and forth since then. Fisher called for an investigation, Warner Bros. opened one, then the studio accused Fisher of not meeting with the investigator, and he said he had but cut the meeting short when he realized the investigator wasn’t as impartial as advertised. It’s been a sticky quagmire. Fisher got a boost when his Justice League costar Jason Momoa (Aquaman) posted the hashtag “IStandWithRayFisher” on his Instagram Stories, but he was still mostly fighting his battle alone.

Now, Momoa, has come out with a much stronger statement of support:

THIS SHIT HAS TO STOP AND NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT @ray8fisher AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO EXPERIENCED WHAT HAPPEN UNDER THE WATCH OF @wbpictures NEEDS PROPER INVESTIGATION I just think it’s fucked up that people released a fake Frosty announcement without my permission to try to distract from Ray Fisher speaking up about the shitty way we were treated on Justice League reshoots.

Serious stuff went down. It needs to be investigated and people need to be held accountable. #IStandWithRayFisher. aloha j

There seems to be a new turn in this drama every couple weeks. I wonder if any of Fisher’s other costars will speak out, including Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Ezra Miller (the Flash) or Henry Cavill (Superman).

Jon Berg has denied the accusations made against him. Both Geoff Johns and Joss Whedon have remained quiet.
