Jason Momoa is an intimidating dude. Anyone who watched him as Khal Drogo in the first season of Game of Thrones knows that. Attending the world premiere of Aquaman in Los Angeles, Momoa took things to a whole new level by performing the haka, a Hawaiian war dance, right on the red carpet:

This is reason 1,237 Momoa remains the Game of Thrones star we’d most like to party with.

Aquaman hits theaters in the U.S. on December 21, and Momoa is making the rounds to promote it. He’ll appear on the Graham Norton Show tomorrow, where he discusses how his career slumped for a minute after his time on Game of ThronesDigital Spy has an advance quote:

I mean, what do you do with that – [Khal Drogo] doesn’t speak English, he’s not funny and he just hurts people. I played that character well so it was a bit challenging afterwards. People would literally say, ‘Wow, you speak English!’

So producers thought he spoke a made-up language? Come on, people.

Of course, Momoa would rebound by landing the role of Aquaman and becoming part of the DC Extended Universe. Sure, those movies have had their issues, but Momoa has been a bright spot,  and the box office outlook for Aquaman is excellent.

As for Game of Thrones fans, Momoa has confirmed that you’re not going to see him back on the show, but that doesn’t mean he can’t return to the role of Khal Drogo. He slipped back on his old skins just this past weekend on Saturday Night Live:

Seriously, that’s one intense dude.
