  3. There are Maori/Pakeha who grew up in New Zealand who don't really have any experience with it and it shows when they attempt it, it's somewhat awkward as Jason's felt to me. No disrespect to him, I think he has seen it performed before and felt the connection with it that anyone of any race does when they see it performed well. For myself I see it as a sign of respect, Khal Drogo is a warrior as Maori were and he felt it was a meaningful representation. Anyone can say the words, do the actions but if it has to mean something and your expression of that meaning must be truthful, from your soul to make an impact.
