Cold Open — Jason Sudeikis returns to play Joe Biden in the cold open, and this is exactly why Joe Biden shouldn’t run for President: No one does Biden better than Sudeikis, and there’s no way Sudeikis is going to want to do this every other week for the next year and a half. On the other hand, Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde apparently live in Brooklyn, so maybe he will. In either respect, Sudeikis is phenomenal here, as a “character” who learns nothing from an aide who tries to teach him not to be so grabby. (Score: 6.5 out of 10)
Kit Harrington Monologue — Harrington, sans beard (ooof) takes questions from the audience, who all want to know how Game of Thrones ends, including three people from the cast of Game of Thrones (Emilia Clarke, the guy who plays Samwell Tarly, and Harrington’s wife, Rose Leslie). It’s fun, mostly because we get to see Leslie, who is on a better show than Harrington now (SORRY NOT SORRY). (Score: 6 out of 10)
2019 Nephew Pagaent — If you were wondering what Kit Harrington looks like without a beard, he looks like a “nephew,” and apparently all nephews are nice, clean boys? (Is this a stereotype for which I am unaware)? In either respect, this skit is bad. (Watch here) (Score: 3 out of 10)
Game of Thrones Prequels, Sequels, and Crossover — An ad for all the Game of Thrones prequels, sequels and crossovers coming to HBO after the final six episodes (with a fun cameo from Ice T and Mariska Hargitay). (Score: 7 out of 10)
Frank Sinatra Impersonator — On a cruise ship, a former Michael Jackson impersonator (Harrington) has to, uh, make adjustments to his show in light of the Michael Jackson documentary. (Score: 3.5 out of 10) (There is no video for this one, but you’re not missing anything)
Earthware 3 — Pete Davidson plays a virtual reality video game ostensibly about shooting up zombies, but it’s mostly about the obnoxious personal drama between two side-story characters, Ethan and Damien. Eh. (Watch Here) (Score: 4 out of 10)
Weekend Update — Pretty fun update tonight, and thanks Joe Biden, now all the political jokes aren’t just about Donald Trump anymore! (Guh) The film critic who microdoses and Kenan’s Charles Barkley (watch here) are pretty good, too. (Score: 6.5 out of 10)
Bachelorette Party — During a bachelorette party, the groom shows up as the … burlesque stripper? It’s not a very good sketch, but the kicker at the end is worth a laugh. (Watch here) (Score: 3 out of 10)
