‘Game of Thrones’ has reportedly added ‘Hot Fuzz’ actor Jim Broadbent for its upcoming seventh season. Entertainment Weekly broke the news, along with the rumors that his character will play a “significant” role. The 67-year-old Broadbent is said to be playing the 60-something “priest” role referenced in casting notices that became public this month. However, it’s also entirely possible that he’ll fill a different part altogether. Game of Thrones’ seventh season has already been confirmed to be shorter than previous years, with seven episodes instead of 10. HBO has also confirmed that Season 8 will be the show’s last.
