Joe Jonas turned 30 on August 15. To celebrate his birthday, a special cake was put together for the singer wherein Joe gets to sit on the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones while Sophie Turner stands beside the iconic GoT element.
The Starks, Targaryen and Lannisters might have fought for the Iron Throne but it is the Jonas who got to sit on the throne. Well, obviously not on Game of Thrones but Joe Jonas took a seat on the Iron Throne atop his 30th birthday cake. Nick Jonas took to Instagram to reveal the three-tier birthday cake customised for the Jonas Brothers singer for his milestone birthday. The cake featured everything that Joe loved, including Game of Thrones and his wife Sophie Turner.
The picture shared by Nick showcases the different elements of the cake. The top tier featured Joe seated on the iconic Iron Throne featured in Game of Thrones. The throne might have been melted down by Daenerys Targaryen’s dragon but there is nothing that some fondant cannot recreate. The fondant version of Joe proudly takes the throne while the sugary version of Sophie stands beside the singer on the cake.
She’s dressed in the same outfit she was seen at “Dark Phoenix” premiere at TCL Chinese Theatre back in June. Joe also sports the same outfit from the night. A sigil reading, “House of Jonas” was placed behind the Iron Throne. The other two tiers featured a bunch of coconut trees and records. Check out the photo below:
Joe not only celebrated his birthday with family but also with his fans. The Jonas Brothers were performing in Washington on August 15 as part of their ongoing Happiness Begins tour. Half-way into the concert, Sophie and Danielle Jonas came on the stage with a cake for the birthday boy. Nick and Kevin joined the crowd to sing the birthday song for Joe while the latter was seen blowing off the candles, kissing Sophie and biting into the cake.
