Johnnie Walker to launch Game of Thrones Scotch

Game of Thrones is the show of murder, sex, and wine. As such, it’s no surprise that we have multiple Game of Thrones inspired alcoholic beverages already available. However, there’s a thing to be noted, these beverages aren’t from your mainstream, day to day, household names brands. However all of that is set to change as a big player has just announced its entry into this nice. Johnny Walker will be releasing a Game of Thrones themed Scotch. Read on!

Now, as we know, Johnnie Walker is a famous brand, and they have decided to pick the perfect way to enter this line: a White Walker Scotch. Johnnie Walker meets White Walker. Pretty cool. Johnnie Walker made the announcement via Twitter, recently. Check out the announcement video, below:

No other details have been revealed as of yet. The Johnnie Walker Facebook page did respond to a fan who had asked about whether the scotch will be a new blend or an older one, re-branded:

“We’re excited to be partnering with HBO on White Walker by Johnnie Walker, which will launch this fall. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!”

Now, we know that HBO has had a good track record with its previous beverages, like the beer and ale line-up in partnership with Brewery Ommegang, and wines, with Vintage Wine Estates, but this is their first hard liquor, but given the giant they have chosen to partner up with, they are bound to be successful.
