What’s up everyone? In this video I wanted to discuss Jon Snow and his potential of using a different sword other than Longclaw during the War against The Others. Most people assume that Jon Snow will be Azor Ahai Reborn, and in that case he will wield a Sword similar to Lightbringer. If that’s the case, then which Sword will end up being Lightbringer? There are several Swords that have pontetial to be this legendary Sword. So, let’s go over some of these things, and see which one is most likely. Thanks for watching!

I feel like Azor Ahai is Jamie. He'll temper his blade in Cersi's heart. He'll kill Euron Greyjoy (water), Lion (unborn baby in cersi's womb), his wife or love Cersi. I can't see John Snow killing Dani
only problem with dawn…It was not highlighted in the show…Unless theory that Beric Dondarrion has it…and passes it to Jon
Longclaw could be Lightbringer, especially if Jon learns to summon flame like Thoros and Beric Dondarrion..but I think Dawn is another possibility.
Question
Is dragon glass obsidian?
It's brittle but was used as blade material because the edge can be razor sharp.
Id like to believe the Theory that Jon Snow will have Dawn…It was what protected him, and will continue to…
Bran is waaaay too OP, they could simply ask him so much that it would ruin any potential plot. For example, "Where are all the valyrian steel weapons?" "Can you keep tabs on the Night King?" "How did the First Men ACTUALLY bring the dawn?" etc..
Maybe they will reforge ice?
jon wields a bastard sword with a wolfs head. He is neither bastard nor a wolf, he is a trueborn dragon. Blackfyre will be his from the Golden Company, after all, black was always his color…
i think long claw will break in season 8 and all the valeerian steel swords will come out of the wood works during season 8 and Long claw will possibly be reforged for the last episode
The obvious choice would be ice.
The whole show is about ice and fire.
I wouldn't be surprised if ice was eventually reforged.
Hearts Banes' hilt and scabbard looks like fire and the name is suggestable…so i would go with that particular sword..
Then, further on that point… we know that Howland can't live throughout the season and when he falls, "Dawn" will be the biggest and oldest sword in the realms since Widow's Wail (which by the way will kill Cersei) and Oath keeper will remain with Brianne until she dies. But both are smaller since both coming from "Ice". So, "Dawn" will come into Jon's possession and will eventually be the sword that kills the Night King… Let's see… "Dawn" being the "Light Bringer" – Both light related… We know that everything means something. Again, my opinion but would logically be something to see.
Thank you for filling in the hilt being damaged in the fire. Just a small detail I thought about several times.
Llyona's crypt has dawn inside.
Only a knight from house Dayne who is deemed worthy can wield dawn. they have only had it 10,000 years though so i'm sure they will just give it to some other house, not like its so important to them that they have it as their sigil or anything.
do u think jon ending up with blackfyre would be a possibility
i think Dany will be dying after child birth sam will be ther with heartsbain to her and Jon's daughter.and with sell swords storming dragonstone to kill her shele tell them to put it thru her heart to make lightbringer.
DAWN CAN NOT BE LIGHTBRINGER
LB was forged by Azor Ahai. Dawn was forged for House Dayne. From a fallen star. But still, forged for House Dayne.
But maybe, if lightbringer was melted, then placed in star which had fallen…
Long Claw goes to Arya(she's growing, Needle isn't)
Jon gets new sword, a reforged Ice
I think that Heartsbane will stay with Sam. Why?
His father told him, that he never will be worthy to wield it. So, he will be. Or try at least
I want him to keep Longclaw tbh. the sword is badass and its been there for him when times were tough. I think theres a personal and emotional connection with longclaw that no other sword could bring. just like character development. this sword has sword development lol if that makes sense. Longclaw for the win
What if all the swords were to be merged together to create the ultimate sword
'bastard' sword doesn't really exist as a category or descriptor outside of the tabletop rpgs…
Longclaw stays in Jons hands until he finds his lineage and ghost dies.
Jon isn't Azor Ahai, Daenerys is.
As a marker of arms since the 90s sky hammer was my buis and still is. You are welcome to view my website to see the things I've made. I've also acquainted myself with expert swordsman as well as other kinds of weapons that I have labored over for extended periods to to provide for customers. I do think you might find my works of some interest.
It bothers me that people dont realise longclaw is lightbringer! It came from the flames
Please let it be Dawn (but I think Howland Reed has it, but that would be a great reason to finally show Holwand Reed) or Ice.
Meteorite came from the Doom of Valeria's volcanic eruption aka dragon glass.
well if i was Jon i would definitely stick to longclaw I mean put yourself in his shoes. The army of the dead is coming, you own a sword which has been proven to work against this army of the dead. Will you take another sword which is not the same material as the already working sword? I know I wouldn't so there has to be an explanation as to why Jon would use Dawn instead of longclaw
Is it possible that Gendry will forge John a new sword from the swords you mentioned but he will have to do it with the help of Melisandre as she will put her magic in to the sword from her own blood or a Dragons blood and their might be another twist as to who can wield its power such as only Targaryan blood line !
Well made and super entertaining! Keep it up!
Knights king whoop night king is rhagon ty Lyanna body in the crept in winterfell . Jon finds the sword there and finds out everything about the knight king
We've already found out he's not a bastard in the last episode.
A bastard sword just means that it is a hand and a half grip not 2 hands. Nothing to do with anyone being a bastard.
Could dawn work like the elder wand? Two different series I know but Ned stark used dawn to kill dayne could the loyalties of dawn switch to starks due to dayne being beaten off a stark?
Could all the swords come together to create one perfect sword which will save the world. Gendry will do this and give to Jon?
Maybe Sam is Azor Ahai and he'll have to Kill gilly in order to quench the blade that will kill the night king, would be poetic, that the coward, the one who can't fight, who was mocked for being to fat and useless, is the one who saves the entire world from the night king
Seems to me that a magical sword like that, which had these magical properties wouldn't rust, so why does another need to be made?
The hound will get dawn…
Bruh if the people of westeroes could see jon taking down that white walker, they'd bend d knee
Nice video but slight technical inaccuracy. The process of rapidly cooling steel to harden it (normally in water or oil) is called quenching. This is typically followed by a stress-relieving process involving reheating the steel and letting it cool more slowly, which is called tempering. Tempering retains the hardness and strength but dramatically improves the toughness as quenched-only steel is extremely hard but brittle. In other words, what is often referred to a tempered steel, is actually quenched and tempered steel.
Sam will find the secret to Valyrian steel. Probably a way to make steel with dragonglass.
He'll need to take the book to Jon, Gendry is a blacksmith who'll rejoin the show soon.
I don't think the legend of Azor Ahai is literal.
If they're testing new Valyrian swords in battle, they might fight water (Greyjoy), then fight lions (Lannister) before he needs to break the heart of his love. Maybe killing a dragon because of an infected shoulder wound? Just a thought 🙂
Jon gives longclaw to Jorah when Jamie gives Widow to Jon .. that could be the foreshadowing when Jorah turns down longclaw the first time.
A whore and a guy = azhor ahai blank stare
Where's Blackfyre though? I wish we knew
His Neesa Neesa will be Mhysa Mhysa.
Isn't Jon Snow still a bastard ? Rhaegar never married Lyanna rite 😂 ? Didn't he already have a wife and kids 😃
