Back in October, Jonathan Ross, 58, was quizzed on what fans can expect from his 48-year-old wife’s upcoming work on the Game Of Thrones prequel, which is rumoured to be titled The Long Night. While the host remained tight-lipped on details, he joked the script was all about him. He told Hello! Magazine: “I’m not going to say anything apart from the fact that [Jane] has just finished it! “She’s written it all around me, I’m a dragon in it!”
But when quizzed further about the details, he added: “I can’t talk about it, sorry!”
According to Digital Spy, The Long Night is based on a White Walker story set thousands of years before Game of Thrones during the Age of Heroes.
The synopsis reads: “Only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend, it’s not the story we think we know.”
It is believed the prequel will begin filming this year, but will not be released until 2020.
Jane, who has been married to Jonathan since 1988, was announced as one of the four writer’s on the upcoming Game Of Thrones spin-off back in 2017.
The screenwriter and producer has also worked on the likes of X-Men: First Class, Kick-Ass and Stardust.
Despite the pair being busy with their careers, Jonathan previously spoke out on the secrets to a good marriage.
He told the publication the key is to “be nice to each other and talk”.
Jonathan also gushed over his 30-marriage during a candid chat with Loose Women in 2015.
He told panelists: “I think we are much more of a an equal partnership than we have ever been before in our lives.
“When we first got together, she was very young… I wasn’t that old but I was considerably older and she came straight from home with her parents.
“And I think the relationship carried on… I was sort of a parent figure as well as a husband.
“Now that we’re both getting older, she has an incredible career of her own and I think she got a bit tired a few years ago of me making decisions without telling her which I would do.
“I would be like ‘We are doing this’ and ‘Oh, I’ve done up the spare room’ and she’d be like, ‘Why?’”
The married couple have three children together Betty, 27, Harvey, 25 and Honey, 22.
The Jonathan Ross Show airs tonight on ITV at 9.25pm
