Game of Thrones stars are all over the place these days, and we’re sure that the fans are going to love this new development that we have today. Actor Joseph Quinn, who played one of the Winterfell guards, Koner, who laughed in disbelief at Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) when she arrived to reunite with her sister Sansa in the final season, is now playing the leader of the Hellfire Club in the highly awaited season 4 of Stranger Things.
Quinn’s Eddie Munson was a fresh addition to the Stranger Things cast, and viewers are in awe of his spectacular performance. Quinn took inspiration from various 80s heavy metal and rock band icons for his character. In a recent interview with Vulture, he said, “It was pretty hard playing second fiddle to a wig for two and a half years. But it was great fun putting something on that drastically changed the way I felt. It was modeled on all of those seminal ’80s heavy-metal bands — Eddie Van Halen was a big one and all the guys in Iron Maiden and Mötley Crüe.”
He continued, “I was listening to a lot of Black Sabbath and Metallica. It felt right for me. Masters of Reality was played on rotation — loved it. It was a perfect compromise because as Joe I really love the music, and Eddie definitely would too. I banged that out a lot.”
