With Justice League only a few weeks away and tickets now on sale, early tracking has come out for Warner Bros’ big superhero crossover. According to Deadline, industry estimates have the film opening around $110-$120 million in the U.S. and Canada; with Deadline also noting that some of Justice League’s projection is being taken by Thor: Ragnarok, which opens two weeks prior.

BUY OR SELL

Variety reports that Tom Hanks has signed on to star in Bios, a hot spec script that made the rounds with Game of Thrones helmer Miguel Sapochnik attached to direct. Written by Craig Luck and Ivor Powell, the story follows a robot that lives on a post-apocalyptic earth; that was built to protect the life of his dying creator’s beloved dog.

Konami Digital Entertainment announced yesterday that their action shooter and classic NES game Contra is set to be adapted into both a feature film and television series. The production was teased with a small video animatic, complete with classic gaming score.

THR is reporting that Drew Goddard, the Oscar-nominated writer behind The Martian, is penning the big-screen adaptation of Nevermoor, a kids’ fantasy book that launches this Halloween.

  1. the low tracking due to Zack Snyder's DUMB take on the DC cinematic universe of the last 4 years. so many poor, unbelievably stupid creative calls and changes on the properties and characters and the whole DC lore… Patty Jenkins seems to have started some course correction..and she would've done better if she'd only gotten HER choice to play Wonder Woman. on Justice League…WB should've started with Joss Whedon at the helm, from the start, instead of going back to Snyder.

  2. Don't get me wrong, Perri comes off as a very sweet and cool person, but could we rotate the slot a little more. My only real issue with her is that she drags out her opinions for far too long then any of the other commentators. Especially if she's hosting… Just please, rotate more.

  3. It's also tracking lower because DC fucked up and didn't properly introduce the others yet. Had they done it earlier like Marvel, Justice League would be tracking huge like Avengers. Right now, not everyone knows (or gives a shit yet) about Cyborg, Flash and Aquaman. And since most people saw the theatrical BvS, that one also left a bad taste in their mouths.

  4. Wonder Woman was tracked at 65million in its opening weekend. Made 103million. So I am not at all concerned with the money factor considering how inaccurate it is. Plus I am hopeful its a great movie, couldnt care less about the money thing. Transformers 4 made 1billion, its still a bad movie so couldnt care less about the money, would be nice but its not a negative, WB should concerned in one thing, making great movies, nothing else.

  5. Maybe they shouldnt have gambled with fake killing Superman. Imagine if he was actually around for the posters. THAT would push JL to the top.

Now they made their bed and have to lie in it.

  6. After seeing Nerdcrew on redletter media channel I see all this videos in totaly different light.

To be honest, JL trailer is crap. Feels like I'm watching animated movie or video game cutscene. Why are they making "live action" superhero movies again?

  7. That's because it's spelled "aÇaí", Rocha. If it actually were with a "C", like how English speakers write it because they don't have the "Ç" in their alphabet, you would be saying it right. That's what got you confused lol.

  8. Tracking numbers tracking numbers… shitheads sitting and talking shits…. why the fuck are they talking about It… what has Zack Snyder ever done to them?. Ask them to make a quality movie like watchmen . 300 . Man of steel.. and bvs. .. and Justice league is justice league.. not dc avengers…. MOTHERFUCKERSS……..

  9. Well. Whose asking that shithead to see the movie?. Like does he thinks that if he doesn't watch the movie the movie will be a flop or something… here's my request. Don't watch justice league. Wouldn't make a difference… and 110 million to 120 million is something that Collider may earn in their lifetime…..

  10. Wow talk about Debby downers and marvel freaks. It’s an early projection. They always get higher when the movie gets closer especially for these big blockbusters. I guarantee you it opens over $200 million domestically for the opening weekend.
