Justice League Explained – Who is Steppenwolf?

Maybe those three mother boxes are the only ones they have in the DCEU or maybe Darkseid needs them all for his war with New Genesis or maybe Anti-Monitor?

I still believe Steppenwolf is not the only nor the main villain of this movie

anyways, cool vid and I'm sure Steppenwolf won't be just 'another' villain in DCEU. Ciaran did say that his character is trying to break free of Darkseid's grip.

I have a question for anyone to answer. At 2:51 a picture of the new 52 justice league is shown. I have this as my wallpaper on my computer. Along the edges there are pictures of the supporting cast of the justice league. I can't identify all of them and haven't been able to find this anywhere online. The left side I can figure out Martian Manhunter at the top, then the Atom (I think), Element Woman (I think) and Firestorm at the bottom. On the right, it is Green Arrow, Hawkman but I can't identify the two women at the bottom. I think it is Black Canary and Stargirl but I am not sure. Can anyone let me know who they are?

wait so if darkseid doesn't belong in the multiverse (not having an infinite number of himself like every other dc character) does that mean that he's fought all of these different incarnations of the heroes over the years but never notice the difference depending on which version of earth he lands on?

I really hope Justice League is good. I don’t feel like dealing with all the backlash and negativity that surrounds the DCEU. I personally don’t want to get burnt again since I didn’t like BvS, thought it was very disappointing and it was one of my most anticipated films of all time and I hated Suicide Squad. Anyway good job on the video! Excited about the new content from your channel.

i dont think mother boxes is special to new gods in dceu either. as you can see in trailer, steppenwolf objective is to conquer earth, not retrieving 3 mother boxes. however those 3 mother boxes is earth key of success to defeat steppenwolf and steppenwolf access back to this earth.

Man I loved the Earth 2 series. It broke my heart how bad that series got in those final few issues before the horrid Worlds End mini series kicked in. I have never gone from loving a series so much to just flat out hating it so fast in all my years of reading comics. Those first 28 or so issues and the Annuals are pure gold though.

Cyborg the living computer and the look of a cyborg is that of a Parademon since the battle armor that Cyborg has identical to the Parademons.

For a New Gods Storytline what I would love to see how New Genesis and Apokolips with the story of both of them exchanging each others sons in order to maintain piece. Orion gets raised by High Father and Scott Free Mr. Miracle gets raised by Darkseid and Granny Goodness. If a New Gods storyline happens fancast choice for Granny Goodness for me would be Gwendolin Christie and for Scott Free Mr. Miracle I would go with Adrian Brody as Mr. Miracle is the Houdini of the DC Universe.

Darkseid's Uncle and the New 52 version of General Steppenwolf is perfect.
