Kit Harington celebrated his and Rose Leslie’s one-year wedding anniversary together in the UK, weeks after his stay at a rehab facility.
The Game of Thrones stars tied the knot on 23 June 2018 in Scotland and celebrated their first year of marriage last Sunday.
According to a source, the couple spent their special day together in London and are now ‘enjoying the summer’ ahead following Kit’s rehab stint.
The insider told People: ‘Since Kit left the Connecticut wellness center, he is back in London with Rose.
‘The two are enjoying the summer, spending time with family and friends. Kit seems well. And Rose seems happy that he is back in London.’
The source added: ‘While he was in Connecticut, she was laying low. It seemed their focus was just getting Kit feeling better. And he does look better. Kit and Rose seem happy.’
Kit, 32, and Rose, also 32, married at the Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland before continuing the celebrations at the actress’ family castle nearby. Their Game of Thrones co-stars Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner were among their wedding guests.
The couple met on-set of GoT and played on-screen lovers, Jon Snow and Ygritte, until Rose’s character died in season four.
Earlier this month, Kit was seen out and about in North London and looked to be on a mission with a coffee cup in hand while jumping into a black cab.
It was the first time the TV star, who played Jon Snow in GoT, had been seen at home since checking himself into a wellness centre for ‘stress and alcohol’ related issues.
Confirming his rehab stint, Kit’s spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘Kit has decided to utilise this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues.’
Kit had previously opened up about his personal battles in interviews, and explained how he struggled with his whirlwind rise to fame on GoT.
