Kit Harington and his Game Of Thrones co-star Rose Leslie tied the knot just last year, and it seems they’re already thinking about babies.

The 32-year-old played the show’s heartthrob Jon Snow, who in season three was seen falling hopelessly in love with Rose’s character Ygritte.

And while the pair hit it off onscreen, they also were also getting pretty close in real life, and ended up having a winter wedding at the end of 2018.

Now, just a couple of months after saying I do, the actor has opened up on his relationship with his new wifey – and it sounds like they’re hoping to start a family.

When chatting to The Sunday Telegraph’s Watch, Kit said: ‘I met my wife in this show so, hopefully, it gave me my future family and my life from here on in.’

The star added: ‘It has changed my life completely. You could not ask for a better job than to be an actor in Game of Thrones.’

But while Kit plans his future with Rose, Game Of Thrones bosses are getting prepared to finish the series – and it turns out Kit was the last person to find out how the HBO hit ended.

Speaking ahead of the grand premiere on 14 April, Harington told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show that he was too lazy to read the scripts.

‘We had a table read and I was the one person who hadn’t read the episodes,’ he explained.

‘Everyone else had them like, three days before and read them and… I think I told everyone it was because I didn’t want to know what happened but I think it was just laziness that I didn’t read them.

‘Anyway, I got to the table read and they used me as a litmus test. [Creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss] were looking at me to see how the events unfolded, and they got some pretty good reactions.’

And it sounds like there isn’t going to be a dry eye in the house following the final episode, as he continued: ‘I was very shocked and surprised at certain events unfolding.

‘And then I blubbed my eyes out. I cried. I cried, yeah.’

Kit wasn’t the only one to cry at the script, as his co-star Emilia Clarke also sobbed.

Chatting to Press Association, she said: ‘That was the moment I realised that alcohol can also be a depressant.

‘I was kind of nursing a glass of wine going, “I don’t know why I’m not getting any happier from this!”’

Game Of Thrones returns April 15 on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
